These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SepticRoute. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SepticRoute, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old
• Operating a legitimate business
• Authorized to enter into this agreement

3. Account & Subscription

Account Creation

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• One account per company

Subscription Plans

• Solo ($29/month): 1 driver account
• Pro ($59/month): 3 driver accounts
• Business ($79/month): 6-7 driver accounts

Free Trial

• 14-day free trial for all new accounts
• No credit card required to start
• Cancel anytime during trial with no charge

Billing

• Billed monthly via Paddle (secure payment processor)
• Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
• No refunds for partial months

4. Acceptable Use

You may:

• Use SepticRoute for your septic business operations
• Store customer data, job records, and photos
• Add drivers and manage your team

You may not:

• Share your account with other companies
• Reverse engineer or copy our software
• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Abuse or harass our support team
• Scrape or download data via automated means

5. Your Data

Ownership

• You own all customer data, photos, and records you create
• We own the SepticRoute software and platform

Data Security

• We use industry-standard security measures
• However, no system is 100% secure — use strong passwords

Data Export

• You can export all your data at any time (CSV format)
• After cancellation, data is available for 30 days

6. Service Availability

• We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee it
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
• The Driver app works offline if servers are down
• We're not liable for lost revenue due to downtime

7. Cancellation & Termination

You Can Cancel Anytime

• Cancel from your account settings (one click)
• Access continues until end of billing period
• Data available for export for 30 days
• After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted

We Can Terminate If:

• You violate these Terms
• Your payment fails repeatedly
• You abuse the service or our team

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SepticRoute is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

• The service will meet your specific needs
• The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• GPS accuracy (though we use high-precision mode)
• The results you'll achieve (revenue, fuel savings, etc.)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We're not liable for lost revenue, data, or profits
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months
• We're not responsible for third-party services (Paddle, Twilio, etc.)

10. Compliance with Laws

• You're responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal regulations
• This includes waste disposal laws, EPA requirements, etc.
• SepticRoute helps with compliance but doesn't guarantee legal compliance

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws
• Customer disputes

12. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms occasionally
• We'll notify you via email of significant changes
• Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in federal or state courts.
